Simple Search for CRM UI - Few questions

Hello Experts ,

I have few questions on the Simple Search for the CRM UI.

1) I would like to Change the name of the object BT120_CPL from "Complaints" to "New Customer Support" on the Search view and also on the result view of Enterprise Search. How can I do it?

2) How do I influence the wild character searches. For instance some times if I search for an employee by last name its search is requiring a wild character like below

Employee last name = Fung Clinton

Search with last name 'Clinton' yields no results but search with '*Clinton" yields results.

Any help in this regard is much appreciated.
