Yes, it is possible

You have to create a text ID Z001  and assign this to Text determination procedure

Add Access Sequence  ( either creating new or use 21 from standard)

Create access Sequence for Text ID's , choose 21 and enter TEXT OBJECT as MATERIAL & TEXT ID as GRUN which will pull your text from Basic data of material master

Add this procedure to Item category and create order for that item category

Ensure that no Text from other IDs should determine , if so you have to create new ID specific to Basic text
